The party will take place on Thursday 9th December, from 4pm to 6pm at Garveys. Santa as usual will be making an early appearance. Children’s food and soft drinks provided.

As with every year the Irish society are contributing to the buying of the Christmas gifts for Santa to hand out, to the amount of QR100 per child. From tomorrow until Tuesday 7th December at 3pm, you can go to Toys R Us , choose a gift to the value of QR 100 for your child (this applies only to children under the age of 10), inform the staff that it is for the Irish society Kids Christmas party. The staff will then take the gift from you , name it,  wrap it and then deliver it to Garveys, before the party.  If the value of the chosen gift is over QR100, then you, the parent have to make up the difference.

May we ask that you do not go way overboard with you chosen gift. In previous years parents who bought, added another QR200 or so and the discrepancies in the size of the gifts that the children received  were vast. A suggestion is to spend no more than QR200.00 on the gift, therefore your contribution, a ceiling of QR100.00
